China Should Buy Back Its Looted Treasures

According to UNESCO statistics, 1.64 million Chinese relics are being stored by more than 200 museums in 47 countries. Rebuilding history by buying back looted historic artifacts has become a patriotic past time and point of international contention in China. Is this patriotic purchasing overkill? Should these relics now just be considered part of international history? Or should all China's artifacts be destined to come home?
