On average there is a bowel movement once per day, and it usually takes some effort, but for some people who often go days without having a bowel movement, you may have toxins in your digestive tract, which can harm your body. If that is the case, you should eat more dark-colored vegetables, and avoid taking laxatives if possible. In this show it tells about a pressure point that can also help. First, open your left palm, and extend your index finger. Place the thumb of your right hand on the nail of your left index finger, then slowly push downwards, until you reach the base of your index finger, which is also the point where the bone is most highly elevated. Now follow the base of your index finger downward until you reach your wrist. Repeat this pushing movement thirty times every day. Doing this will stimulate three pressure points at once.

When you make a fist, note the bone that points out from the index finger. If you follow the finger, that’s the Erjian point. If you follow to the back of the hand, that’s the Sanjian point. Then to find the Hegu point, put your index finger and thumb together. You’ll see a piece of flesh which protrudes, the highest point of the flesh is the Hegu point. Another effective method is to use the rounded back edge of a comb; apply some olive oil or skin cream to it, then repeatedly scrape the Hegu point.

1 Massaging the helix root  Massage the front and back of the two helix roots with the index fingers 15 times each respectively.

2 Pressing on the helix.  Press on the helix, moving both hands upwards and downwards 15 times.  

3 Shaking and pulling the ears

Shake and pull both helixes 15 times each respectively with the thumb and index finger.Only apply moderate force.

4 Flicking the ears

 Flick the ears with the middle fingers 15 times each.

5 Beating the drum

 Cover the ear orifices with the hands.Put the five fingers of each hand at the back of the head with the index fingers placed over the middle fingers.Then,suddenly slide the index fingers downwards to beat the rear of the head approximately 24 times.Afterwards,open and close the palms ten times.This method naturally causes the antrum auris to fill with air and the tympanic membrane to vibrate. This is called “ruing tiangu” or ‘beating the Heavenly drum'.

Massaging the ears can promote qi flow and blood circulation of the auricular region, can make the extemal auricular skin moist and lustrous,can delay ageing of the tympanic membrane,can help to prevent frostbite,and can help to prevent and cure auricular diseases.
