With the middle class growing in Beijing, increasing numbers of dogs are appearing on the city’s streets. Until recently most of these dogs were your typical urban mini pooches: Pekinese, Chihuahua, small terriers.
But there’s a reason beyond convenience for these small stature pooches – however, as BON’s Steffi Lau now reports, that reason may just be about to change.
