The People's Liberation Army recently announced that it was revising its regulations regarding soldiers' use of the internet. Chinese servicemen are now no longer allowed to open blogs, create websites or homepages on the internet, out of concerns over confidentiality.
The revised PLA Internal Administration Regulations came into force on June 15.
