Milk Scandal Again

Aug 12, 2010
A Chinese maker of infant formula is being accused of causing sexual prematurity in a number of months-old babies. The Beijing-based Health Times said infants and toddlers fed with the formula had developed breasts. The company involved, Synutra International, has denied the accusations and says its products are free of hormones. This is just the latest food-safety scare involving baby formula products in China. Our researcher Quincy Hsiao joins us now from the newsroom with the latest.
