You may remember a month ago we went online to gauge Chinese reaction to the debt crisis facing the Euro-zone and Greece in particular. Comments were generally unsympathetic, the general consensus being that Euro-zone countries got themselves into this mess, and that helping big welfare states was just a waste of time.
But Chinese government and businesses apparently think otherwise. China has recently signed a number of business deals with Greece worth billions of Euros which will see cooperation between the two countries in a variety of fields, including shipping, tourism and telecommunications.
