The recent shooting dead of a man by a bank security guard in northeastern China has sparked a heated debate online here.
The 24-year-old former soldier was shot in the face after confronting guards loading cash into an armored van. Wu Xiwen is reported to have attacked two of the security guards – though it's not known why. In response, one of the guards apparently fired a warning shot. When that didn't work, he shot Wu in the face, killing him instantly.
The security guard has since been arrested and charged with murder. Now the rights and wrongs of this case are being hotly debated online.
