Tiger's China Ads Removed
Dec 23, 2009
The fall out from the Tiger Woods infidelity scandal hasn't just been limited to the US. A local Beijing newspaper says billboards and commercials featuring the controversial golfer will soon be taken down at a Shanghai airport.
The bad news just keeps on coming for Tiger. After canceling its deal with the superstar golfer, Accenture says it's now working on a new advertising campaign for next year. All commercials featuring Woods will soon be removed, and that includes ones in China.
The Beijing Star Daily has reported that this advertisement at Shanghai Huangqiao airport will be taken down. Accenture says Woods is no longer the right representative to lead its advertising campaign, whose tag line reads "high performance delivered." The ads on all official websites have also been removed.
